Tom Shaked earned his Ph.D. at the Material Topology Research Lab, Technion IIT, focusing on adaptive robotic construction. Currently, he is a senior lecturer at Ariel University and head of the Architectural Robotics and Construction Automation Research Laboratory (ARCA Lab). Tom was previously a visiting lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at the Technical University of Munich School of Engineering and Design and the Civil, Environmental, and at the Agricultural Robotics Lab (CEAR), Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Technion. His research centers on data-driven design, robotic construction, and digital fabrication to advance architectural research and foster sustainability in building practices.
