Eliad Michli

M.Sc. Researcher

Eliad Michli is an industrial designer and researcher specializing in harnessing by-products and recycled materials for large-scale robotic manufacturing. His goal is a holistic view of architectural processes, encompassing the convergence of material innovation, sustainability aspects, and digital fabrication techniques. Eliad’s research is aimed at developing methodologies that harmonize material properties with form and function, with a strong focus on the interplay between materials and their contextual relevance to local environments and cultures.

Before joining the Technion and MTRL, Eliad studied at Shenkar College, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem, and the Estonian Academy of Arts. Eliad has extensive experience in product development and design and headed an industrial design studio working on a wide variety of projects. Eliad won several prizes and design competitions and presented his work at design weeks around the world.
