Tal Hofman is an undergraduate student at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology’s Faculty of Architecture and a research assistant at the MTRL lab. Tal’s academic experience includes a semester at Politecnico Di Milano University as an exchange student, broadening her architectural perspective. Her architectural interests encompass parametric design, 3D-printing, large scale public designs, residential projects, and smart architectural systems.
At MTRL, Tal is part of a research team exploring the use of crochet techniques in 3D fabric production through additive manufacturing. This work aims to apply traditional crochet methods in architectural, technical, and possibly medical fields.
